a) To Establish a prosperous, modern, dynamic, science based, culturally rich Singapore.
b) To wipe out apathy and to create an environment where there is activity, innovativeness and initiative.
c) To safeguard Parliamentary Democracy and to uphold the principles of democracy, socialism, justice and the Constitution.
d) To establish a social system where there are adequate and equal educational and training opportunities for every citizen to advance himself or herself to the fullest of his or her talent and where there is dignity of labour, respect for the individual, national pride and self-reliance.
e) To strive for and establish an economic union first with the Federation of Malaysia then with the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).
